Hi Eli! For the Independence Day, I think swak yung Rizal mo in a snowy, winter setting. Lagyan na lang ng evocative text.

Pakibato lahat sa amin ni Ariel, as in "copy furnished' style.

Manong, the magazine started as a magazine about condos in the Philippines, with OFWs as target audience. Ariel Valerio is the founding editor. The story on the evolution of this publication may be found in Ariel's site.

Recently, the publishers decided on expanding the magazine's global reach and scope. The first issue starts with the Global Pinoy-US East Coast Edition which will be launcehd this April.

English --although admittedly colonial -- is a neutral language among the Pinoys abroad.

Tagalog (also called P/Filipino, which is a misnomer) is still a sore issue among non-Tagalog speaking regions in the country.

Ang tema: Spirituality and Healing.
