I call it "Instant pinikpikan" The red background does a lot to accentuate the browns and yellows.

Alright. But Jack said, he cooks better than I do. Indeed, his tinola and adobong manok are good. He always cooks for his kids when they are here in Baguio. (Me, I cook only for cats.)

Maybe, your memories of past experiences with the Baguio variety (in spite of Balili's water used for them, LOL) get in the way of your "here-and-now" encounters there in your place of abode now. Just maybe.
