Senatorial candidate, Chavit Singson, gaced the Lang-ay Festival 2007 as a special guest, being an adopted son of Mountain Province.

His helicopter, after leaving the scene on a foggy afternoon, crashed near a mountain in Banaue and Bauko town.

Touted as a "masamang damo," he survived the accident with minor wounds.
